Costa Azul

Costa Azul is Los Cabos's surf capital — the first thing you see after leaving the airport, and the beating heart of Baja's surf culture. When the swell is up, there is no better place to be in all of Los Cabos.

Costa Azul sits at the southern entrance to San José del Cabo — one of the first things you see after leaving the airport. The beach is home to four surf breaks: Zippers (the most famous, hosts competitions), The Rock (powerful reef break for experienced surfers), Old Man's (mellow and forgiving — perfect for beginners), and Pescadito (a fun beachbreak). Between them they cover every level from first-timer to pro.

When the surf is flat, Costa Azul's long sandy beach is perfect for walking, jogging, and watching the sunrise over the mountains. The proximity to downtown San José del Cabo means restaurants, cafés, and services are all within minutes.
