Janet and her artist husband Steven fell in love with the Baja’s East Cape after a winter vacation. In 2001 they purchased a property and built a house in Buenavista, BCS, and now spend their time between the BCS and Whidbey Island, WA.
Janet feels so fortunate to be able to enjoy all the amenities that East Cape has to offer. One day she can be hiking and the next out in the Sea of Cortez swimming and snorkeling all the while watching gray whales or dolphins swim by.
Janet worked for over 40 years in the retail industry with Bi-Mart, Inc. Her talents and experience made her stores the most profitable stores in Bi-Mart’s history. Her new chapter, Real Estate, is perfectly matched for a retired retail manager and high energy person. Janet will provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision. You need someone who knows this area and will treat your needs as her own working with you to find that right home or property at the right price, fulfilling all the criteria that matters to you.
Janet’s pastimes are hiking, swimming, snorkeling, yoga along with dedicated service work. She also serves on the board of Asociación de Artes, a legal Mexican non-profit whose objective is to raise funds to improve the educational experience at over 19 schools in the East Cape area. Janet travels southern Baja meeting people, gathering donations for their silent auction and is absolutely the most successful fundraiser in the Asociación’s history.
