Four years ago, I purchased a vacation home in the East Cape (Zacatitos), which is now my permanent home, after deciding to relocate from Alberta, Canada. Since moving here, everyday I am asked if buying real estate in East Cape, Baja Mexico is a difficult process. I decided to become a Real Estate Agent to offer buyers my first hand experience of going through the purchasing process.

I understand that purchasing property in any foreign country can seem overwhelming and confusing when you don’t speak the language, you don’t understand the culture, and you don’t know the laws. But this isn’t necessarily the case.

Buying property in the East Cape, Baja Sur can be just as easy as buying property in your home country if you take the time to hire the professionals that specialize in real estate and let them guide you through the laws and processes.

At Baja Smart, we work as a team of individuals with varying expertise which offers buyers a more experienced and knowledgeable real estate group to assist buyers in their search for the perfect property in the East Cape.

Use our MLS East Cape property search and start looking homes, lots and condominiums. On the listing page click "view on interactive map" and check out the distance from the property to beaches, water activities and more.

Feel free to contact me for detailed property info, comps and sold data.
